Bronaugh Quinn, Neuro and Vestibular Physiotherapist
Bronagh Quinn is recognised as the physiotherapist in Dunedin and Otago to see for vestibular, dizziness and balance issues, concussion/brain injury, and breathing dysfunction.
Bronagh graduated from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland in 1988 with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. She worked in the UK for 2 years before coming to New Zealand. She has been working as a neuro/vestibular physiotherapist in Dunedin since 1993.
Bronagh has specialised training in:
- Vestibular rehabilitation (introductory - Atlanta, USA, 2004; Advanced training - New Zealand 2013-2016)
- Concussion and traumatic brain injury assessment and rehabilitation (Auckland, 2015)
- Breathwork (BradCliff Method physiotherapist since 2010)
- Mindfulness (Ovio Mindfulness Solutions Facilitator)
- Stroke rehabilitation (Bobath Course, Auckland, 1996).
- Trauma-informed therapy (Dunedin, 2021)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Dunedin, 2022)
Bronagh has been teaching concussion assessment and rehabilitation courses to physiotherapists and occupational therapists with her husband, Dusty Quinn since 2019. Courses have been held throughout New Zealand, Hong Kong, Cape town, South Africa and Dublin, Ireland. They will be teaching in Tokyo in September 2026.
She has presented at New Zealand and International Conferences on concussion and brain injury research and clinical practice.

Bronagh is an active member in the physiotherapy profession:
- Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ): committee member for Neuro Special Interest Group;
- International Neurology Physiotherapy Association (INPA): New Zealand rep on the Secretariat committee;
- Provides supervision and support to physiotherapists in the areas of concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
